In Kenya, Yoba collaborates with JKUAT university and the social enterprise Mellow Food. There are currently eight producers of Yoba probiotic yoghurt in Kenya.
In Zimbabwe, Yoba collaborates with Dr. Augustine Mpofu, Chair of the Department of Food Science and Technology at Chinhoyi University of Technology.
In Ivory Coast a Yoba yoghurt research project has been completed. During the project, that was led by Prof. Dr. Carolina de Weerth, the impact of the consumption of Yoba probiotic yoghurt on the cognitive development of children has been studied.
We sell our Yoba culture to probiotic yoghurt producers all over the African continent, including producers in Rwanda, Nigeria, Gambia and Burkina Faso.
